Located behind the Village Museum, these motors powered all sorts of work equipment (pumps, saws, grinders, grindstones, threshers, chaff-cutters and generator) at one time. These are irreplaceable items due to their age and status as technological rarities. These artifacts dating back 100 years represent the ancient times of the internal combustion engine.

Antal Fruhmann (1908-1987) stove master of Győr left his house and workshop to the city museum in his last will and testament. The stove museum opened here is unique in the country. The significant history of stove making in Győr, the memory of the now lost Mágner, Dachauer, Magyary, and Fruhmann workshops, and the interiors of the exhibition rooms make the expression “warmth of home” directly experienceable for all age-groups.
